Terms of Service
Effective date: January 1, 2026 · Last updated: March 1, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Maestro. By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Maestro ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and any future paid plan users.
2. Description of Service
Maestro is an AI-powered coding assistant that runs language models locally on your machine via Ollama. The web application provides a chat interface, conversation history, and account management. AI inference runs locally — your code and prompts are not transmitted to TheAlxLabs servers.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use Maestro. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when registering. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Usage Limits
Free accounts are subject to usage limits (currently 50 messages per day, 200 per week). These limits may change at any time. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Maestro to: generate malicious code, malware, or exploits; violate any applicable laws or regulations; infringe on the intellectual property rights of others; attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service; resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.
6. Intellectual Property
The Maestro web application, branding, and UI are owned by TheAlxLabs. The Conductor engine is open source and available under its respective license on GitHub. AI model responses are generated by third-party models (Qwen, etc.) and are subject to their respective licenses. You retain ownership of any code or content you create with Maestro's assistance.
7. AI Model Usage
Maestro uses locally-run AI models via Ollama. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of AI-generated responses. Always review AI-generated code before using it in production. AI models may produce incorrect, biased, or harmful outputs — you are responsible for reviewing and validating all outputs.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TheAlxLabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past twelve months.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of applicable jurisdiction.
